Inside, guests will find five cozy bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a spacious living area with a Smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of games for family fun. For a touch of nostalgia, there’s even a Star Wars pinball machine and record player.

Outside, the property features a private sandy beach just 25 steps from the back door, complete with kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboat, and life jackets for exploring Intermediate Lake. Guests can unwind by the firepit, relax in hammocks, or enjoy outdoor dining with the grill and picnic table.

The cottage also includes a washer and dryer, air conditioning, and heating for year-round comfort. Dog-friendly amenities—like bowls, waste bags, and extra towels—make it easy to bring your four-legged family members along. Guests can easily accommodate multiple vehicles without the hassle of backing out or blocking anyone in, making it perfect for families or groups traveling with more than one car.

Yes — The Dragonfly Cottage is not only pet-friendly, but we encourage you to bring your dogs along! We believe family vacations should include every member of the family—paws and all. The property offers the perfect setting for your dog(s), from the yard to the private beach where they can play and cool off by the water. Inside, you’ll find thoughtful touches like dog bowls, dog toys, waste bags, and extra towels to make your stay easier. We simply ask that pets be well-behaved, supervised, and kept off the furniture to help preserve the cottage’s cozy atmosphere. Dogs should never be left alone at the property unsupervised. If you must leave them there for a short period, we provide two crates for your use.

There is a $145 pet fee per stay to help cover the additional cleaning and care that go into ensuring the home stays spotless for all guests.

We understand that plans can change. Because of the seasonal nature and popularity of Northern Michigan, we offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 60 days before your arrival. Most guests reserve their stays well in advance, so this window helps us accommodate others looking to book.
