The Outside
The Dragonfly’s outdoor spaces are what lake life is all about — from paddling the kayaks, canoe, or paddleboat to relaxing by the firepit with our s’mores kit under a sky full of stars. Spend the day swimming from the sandy beach, playing cornhole, or lounging in the Adirondack chairs and hammocks along the water’s edge. With sunset views, a picnic table, and a BBQ grill, every moment outside is pure Northern Michigan magic.
Kitchen & Dining
A fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials—spices, oils, pots, pans, and a stocked coffee bar with cream, sugar, and syrups—plus a spacious dining table for twelve. Enjoy meals, music, and game nights surrounded by vintage charm. There's even a record player and cabinet stocked with tons of games!
Bathrooms
With two full bathrooms — including both a shower/tub and a walk-in shower — guests enjoy convenience and comfort. Each is thoughtfully stocked with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and our special “Forgot Something” jars.
Bedrooms
With five bedrooms and a cozy loft, The Dragonfly Cottage offers the perfect mix of comfort and space. The primary suite features a king bed on the main floor, while upstairs you’ll find another king bedroom and a two-queen room. Downstairs, two full bedrooms provide extra room for guests, and the loft’s twin daybed — with two twins — is perfect for the kiddos.
Living Area
With vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and large windows overlooking Intermediate Lake, the living area perfectly captures the charm of up-north living. Loft Area
Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy retreat perfect for families or larger groups. The loft features two comfortable bedrooms — one with a king bed and one with two queens — plus a charming daybed with a pull-out trundle that’s perfect for the kids or extra guests. Enjoy a friendly game at the checkers table or test your skills on the vintage Star Wars pinball machine. Whether it’s a lively game night or a quiet evening of relaxation, the loft offers space for everyone to unwind and have fun.
Dog Friendly
At The Dragonfly Cottage, dogs aren’t just allowed — they’re part of the family. With a gradual lakefront access perfect for swimming, a yard to explore, and cozy spots inside for napping after adventures, it’s a pup’s paradise. We provide food and water bowls, waste bags, dog bed, leashes, a tie out, and toys to make your four-legged guests feel right at home.
